Dreaming up and building a revolutionary, equitable reality for children and families demands equal parts bravery and vulnerability from each and every one of us. We are called to take up the challenge of counteracting oppression in all its forms. We disrupt status quos and comfort zones.
Reimagining what’s possible is scary but we support each other in naming our fears and needs. Then, side-by-side, we metabolize the fear so that we may be bold in doing the right thing when it matters the most, even if it leads us to unfamiliar and unknown places. The unknown humbles us and empowers us to take risks, conjure new ideas and take action, together. We celebrate the chances taken, questions asked, lessons learned and challenges embraced.
